As well as barbershop singing he was involved in three choral groups and drummed for the Tawa Community Festivals and college concert band. In 2003 he played the lead role of Jesus Christ in the very successful Tawa College production of `Jesus Christ Superstar’. Jeff was also Tawa College’s Deputy Head Boy and he received the `Best All Round Musician Award’ in 2004.
Now at Victoria University, Jeff is studying
for a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Media Studies. He also works part time
at a local retail store. After leaving university he hopes to either become
involved in the music industry or pursue a career in law enforcement. In his
spare time Jeff enjoys going to the gym, singing with Vocal FX (the Wellington
Youth Barbershop Chorus) and producing his own music at home.
